This assemblage of tools represents biface scrapers and preforms, with
a notable exception in the third point of the first row—a probable Clovis
point tip. Such numbers of scrapers found in one collection may indicate
of some game-processing station or multi-component site on the Anker’s
property. Trianguloid scrapers, often made upon thinned prismatic flakes,
are typical of the Early Archaic Period. |
