| Among the artifacts to be found in Vern Dubbert's collection is this
fluted Clovis made from Kenneth chert. This type of chert is found in northwestern
Indiana and in our area we see quite a few points made from this material.
This beautiful artifact has heavy basal and haft grinding. I would absolutely
love to find a whole Clovis one of these days, however, I do believe odds
are not in my favor.........
