| Adam Marcukaitis shares with us the artifacts he and his son found
this last Spring. Adam’s father collected for many years and their
site is listed for further study due in large part to the number of blunts
found there, over forty blunts amongst many points and other artifacts.
Unfortunately, Adam’s parents have retired from the farm life and have
moved out west......
way west of Illinois.....and they took their collection with them,
but we hope to scan the artifacts at a later time so that the information
is not lost. Adam’s five year old son came running into the house
one day last Spring yelling that he had found a “big, white flake”......take
a look at the heavily resharpened Adena type blade............nice “flake”
to be sure. |
