Meet Michael Morrison who now resides in Racine, Wisconsin though he
was born and raised in Peotone. Michael at one time had a wonderfully unique
gift and flower shop in the downtown section of Peotone and a second shop
in a nearby town. He closed the shop in Peotone in 1987 much to the dismay
of many of us. In 1991 Michael moved to Racine
where he now is a buyer for floral products from Holland, South Africa,
Costa Rica, Mexico, Thailand and many other exotic places. He commutes
every day to Morton Grove, Illinois. Michael was generous enough to pack
up his whole collection and bring it back to Peotone so we could show the
whole world the artifacts that were collected by his grandfather, Elmer
Morrison, and his great uncle, Walter Bisping. |
