An extremely interesting Kirk is pictured at top left. It is made from
a large, curved flake and the other side of this point has only edgework.
Next is a Lamoka point, followed by a Bifurcate, exact typology unknown.
Shown far right is a gorgeous Adena Waubesa with only tip damage.
What can I say about the first artifact in the bottom row..............I
think it is what is left of a large Thebes that has sustained damage from
agriculture equipment. Next is a biface, followed by two unifacial artifacts.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank both Darcetta and Russell
Mueller for sharing the artifacts of Russell's uncle, Gilbert Schroeder.
Mr. Schroeder is now residing in a retirement facility and I hope he gets
a chance to see his collection. Mr. Schroeder may also want to know that
so far he was correct.....I haven't found one artifact on his property,
not even a partial artifact............but there is always a chance I may
come across one or two he previously missed!
