Pictured above is a typical hammerstone shown in the top left-hand
side of the picture. Next to the hammerstone is a nutting stone and
has been used extensively on both sides. The artifact shown in the
bottom row, left, was also found on this particular archaeological site
and I do not know exactly what it is. The rim around the hole shows
wear and most of the rock that cannot be seen has been blackened, I assume
by fire. To the right of this artifact is another hammerstone/pestle
type tool and is a round rock with one flattened side showing use-wear
and battering.
