A Visit to The King's Arms and The Pipe!
February 2001
So I was knockin' down a few jars w' me mates down at the King's Arms, this great pub outside the wall of the Hampton Court Palace when I meet Jerry. Jerry has been a gardener at the Hampton Court Palace for over 25 years. This is no small feat: You may not know that the gardens at this palace, built by Henry VIII, are world reknowned.... one of the best n the world-- that would make him... yup.

Anyway, this terribly interesting man says to me: "Hey, Bob, you ought to ask the Guv'nor to show
you his pipe."  This came somewhat after I'd been told to go look at the maze through a window on the second floor.  Well, everyone knows you can't see over the top of the famed maze, not even from the palace, right, and I'd been to this pub a bunch of time before, so I thought I knew it all, but sure enough:

I'm only printing half of it, because it's just not right to show you the way round!
Anyway, so I tried not to give in to the smirks, winks, and nudges and agreed to see the Guvnor's pipe.

At which time I was invited to go down to the basement:
This definitely a bend-over-watch-your-head-be-careful kind of trip.......... What's there?
I'll show you on the next page......
