| The day we were there the staff was conducting an experiment in how
Roman era farmers might seperate oats from chaff.... I don't think the
experiment worked, but that's how experiments go.
The plan was to use a sort of sled-like implement, which had sharp shards of flint lashed to the bottom, dragged over a supply of oats grown onsite.
