August 26, 2004Today Joe and I went to our Warren County creek, water was up about 3-4 foot yesterday from a monster storm. All gravel is turned and prime forhunting, could only spend 2 hours, didn't find a thing but we hope to return in the next few days, hope to have some pics. It is unbelievable how much gravel gets moved from flood waters, must see to believe.   ----- Patrick

My brother-in-law came up today, we went to a local Eureka, MO creek.
This is a pic of Steve in the creek right where he found this nice
woodland point in about 20 inches of water. He also found the jaw bone
and the fossil. I found the broken tip of a blade. ---Patrick

I don't know if you remember but the "small overhang" is located on the rim of Crooked Creek
Crater in Crawford County Mo.

I went out Sat morn and found this blade, 3 feet deep, right under the rock with the cedar tree
in the middle of the overhang.--- Patrick
