Diggin It At Bill's Place

Most of the artifacts came from the shell and rock layers half way up the wall.
Hope you can spot the layer in these shots of our holes.


I found these nice drills near side by side. Note the caliche deposit on the right one.


A nice undetermined point on top (better shot below)--
The nice bead is made of  shell, wissh I could've gotten a shot of the hole--
carved almost cone-shaped, meeting in the middle to a hole.

This site's about 200 yards from the Lampasas River, and on the second rise.
Bill's house was built smack on top of the main mound!
