Dirt Brothers Latest Finds

Perhaps the majority of archaeological sites lost in this country is due
to the ever increasing spiral of urban development.
Here in Texas, over 2,480,000 acres of rural acreage were
developed in the last 3 years!

We can't stop development: It would be tilting at windmills. What we can
do is develop better relationships with developers. Let's get them to allow at
least a salvage operation that won't hold up their schedules.

Let's try to get more State agencies to recognise Salvage Archaeology, and the
growing need to create a set of new techniques for salvors to use.

The following are some pictures of a San Antonio site that will soon be a WalMart.

This is part of the site yet to be seriously dozed.
