at the main midden's edge. This midden is quite large.... maybe 1/2 acre at least. There's a lot of lithic debris scattered about. The soil is rich and filled with clams and snails, burned rock and flint. We took GPS readings to mark the site, and plan to map several other parts at a later time. |
