Commanche War Trail Artifacts
by Doyle Phillips

Four of many finely colored projectile points made, probably, from Alibates flints (except the Folsom). All objects are shown at actual size. Ages are approximate.
The Clovis, Folsom and Castroville are points used on lances, spears or atlatl darts.

The  Bonham is an arrowhead; the purpose of the arrow was to penetrate the target deeply so the head was made quite small.

Lamentably these and all other points in Comanche War Trail Artifacts are  printed only in black, not in full color.

Though not unusually colorful this point should be of interest to people in the Midland region.
