PAS Excavations

Panhandle Archaeological Society members do test excavations at Isaac's Windmill, Texas

Here are some pictures from a field project PAS members participated in at a site called Isaac's Windmill. This site is a Middle Ceramic period site located in Gray County, Texas. there is a county road that runs through the middle of the site exposing a number of features in the road cuts. We mainly did profiles of features, but did excavate one trash filled pit feature that was exposed in the floor of the road and partially in the north road cut.
