From Dirt Bro Mike
Manis in Texas:
Just wanted to send you a pic of an Allen knife that I found in August.
I hadn't even taken 2 steps to start hunting, when I looked down after
stepping on my first bar and I saw the outline against the limestone covered
rocks...heart stopper! This Allen has oblique transverse flaking, and it
has quite a bit of twist along the blade length. It is 5 7/16" long, and
made out of Florence chert.
Thanks Mike! what an awesome surface
find!
