Dirt Brothers Visitor's Pages
January/February 2002
"This is what I know about  this axe. It was found in the Chiricahuas in the early 1900's by a relative who was hunting. That is near Wilcox, Az. It was never used. The man's wife took one look at it and told him to throw it away!

He wrapped it up and put it in the shed, showed his friends, and eventually passed it on to his grandson who wanted it to remember his grandfather. It has never been cleaned of the original dirt that is on it, and has never been used. I have it because I think it is authentic, and he needs to sell it.
I promised him I would get it into the right hands, either a collector, or a museum."
Sincerely,
Deanna Lenz

The Dirt Brothers usually does not broker sales of artifacts but
I've never seen anything like this before.
