I found this in the Swannee River at White Springs, Fla
(where I lived then). I was 14 years old when I found it: I'm 51 years
old at present. I was just wondering if you know if this is a blade
or spearhead and can identify it. It's size is 3 1/2" long an 1 1/2" wide
I'm not an expert on Florida points
by any means, but I'd guess your point is either a Marion or Putnam...
either way the knife looks like a Mid-Archaic type for FL, about
7000-3000 years before present day old. Being 3-1/2" long,
