From Dirt Bro Jon
Deb in Arkansas:
First off, let me say this is the best artifact site I have found on the web. I realy enjoy it alot. I'v'e been collecting points for about 6 years, and have found some interesting things. I can't think of anything I'd rather do in my spare time. I'm sending a frame of some of my resent finds. These I just found this past Saturday. They all come from a small rock shelter in Searcy county AR. It is a very small shelter that everyone has overlooked, because it is so small. It has been a blessing for me! I have found about 300 points there so far, and still finding an average of 10 points every trip. Thats not counting the broken points and the other interesting artifacts coming out of this hole. I will send you some pictures of this site soon. I live in Boone County AR about 15 miles north of Harrison. These hills are literaly covered in shelters. There are 5 within a quarter mile of my house. I have also been diging in a small cave below my house, and have found some pretty nice points. I have often wonderd about these points. They have odd looking tips. A large part of my collection from this spot have this type of tip, but mostly the stemmed ones. I have a few ideas of my own, but I would like to hear some more opinions. Thanks Jon!
