From Dirt Bro Jon
Deb in Arkansas:
These come from my dig in Searcy county. I still have about 60 that I did not send, but they all have the tips broke or other minor damage. (Not to mention about 100 heart breakers from this site alone.) I find a lot of better grade points in other digs, but this place is really special to me. I took some pictures of it, but they did not turn out good. I will try again next time I go. I would like for you to see this shelter. I think you would be very suprised at the number of artifacts coming out of such a small area. My sister's father in law owns the place. He wants to dig out a small hole in the back of the shelter with his dozer which he thinks is a cave. It might be, but he is letting me get the artifacts out first. I feel my time is running short, and I think you all understand how I feel. I dread the day I have to stop and let the dozer go in. I will still get to go through the dirt later, but so much of the story will be lost. I do however admire the fact he is giving someone the chance to do what I am doing before it is destroyed. Thanks Jon!
