From Dirt Bro Bobby
McGinnis of Mississippi:
I have been a collector of artifacts for most of my life. I live in southwest Mississippi an area rich in artifacts. I have only found 1 tomahawk in my life and it was not complete and very crude. this one found recently is perfect and I assume must be ceromoneal for it is so exceptional in every way. I have seen many collections in my day and have never seen anything even close to it. Ihave been to the local university USM and a professor told me it was about 5000 years old. I know nothing else about it and would like your help in identifing it. The only place I look is on the surface. We are a farming area with
a lot of plowed ground. Alot of these farms are near the many clear springs
The artifact is about 1 " in thickness at its wideist point. average
width
Thanks Bobby!
