Dirt Brothers Visitor's Pages
March 19, 2000
"Last week I was making a run into town when I noticed that someone had been dumping fill onto
a vacant lot. I thought I'd better check it out.  I hit paydirt almost as soon as I got out of the car,
finding a broken knife made out of white, translucent agate.  The piles of fill were covered with
agate chips and chunks.  I found the attached points where the rain had washed the dirt away from
them.  In addition, I found a few scrapers, broken points and other miscellany.
These two points aren't much to look at, but they're all there and I thought you might like to take
a quick look at them.  Now, if we can just figure out what it is about midden that it always ends up as fill-dirt!"
