From Dirt Bro Garry
in TX:
As the water has been low, I check out sites as schedule permits. This
is a great way of staying aware of erosion and particulars on each of the
4 closest and most productive sites within a few miles of my work radius.
These are from a bagfull of diddies found in an hour walk from a site we
refer to as "camino." This is on the other side of the
road which bisected this site . (approx 200x100) is the gv53 most
of my stuff came out of., and which had the recent archaeological
survey in which I participated. All of these came from a 2 foot area
washing out of the side. Yesterday I stopped at the Baytown
bridge site where I found the shell point.and walked a bit.
Got a plethera of pottery and a thumb scraper. That place is bigger
than gv53, probably older, and is subject to greater erosion problems.
