Kansas Artifacts

We’re hoping for some help identifying these oddly shaped stones.  A person who wishes to remain anonymous forwarded them to me.   The finder was looking for landscaping rocks, and knows little about the pre-history of America, but saw these as unnaturally shaped stones and decided to take them home.  The finder has since learned that there was a fair amount of ancient human activity in the area, but isn’t able to come up with many details of who was actually there.  The artifacts were picked out of piles of stone cast away by a farmer plowing fields.

This is almost certainly a Phallic representation.  It is 8 inches long, 4.75 inches in width at its widest point, and rather heavy.  It has ‘grip grooves’ incised on it.  Seriously now, this is a real artifact.  Any serious dialog is welcomed.
