| Here STAA chairman Paul Stein and Texas' most famous avocationalist,
Sue Turner (who also co-authors A Field Guide To Stone Artifacts
of Texas Indians with Dr. Hester--- ISBN 0-89123-051-3) show
off a large biface found on the property. We were all pretty lucky to get
a chance to work with Turner and Hester.
The idea of the School was to work in all areas of the research over the 9 days. So, everyone got a chance to excavate, field survey, and do lab work. |
